Originally from Oregon in the good old USA, I moved to Osaka, Japan in 2006 and have since started a family while working as a teacher and a freelance translator.
In 2013 I started experimenting with game development, first using the Torque2D engine and later switching to Unity 5. My main on-again-off-again projects are Plasma Mania and Prism Trek, though I have some prototypes for other projects as well.
I am a a completely self-taught programmer, and hope to one day make the switch to doing it full time. Alongside of my day job of teaching I often do freelance translation as well, which can put a hold on programming from time to time.
